This qualification reflects the role of community services professionals involved in the delivery, management, and coordination of person-centred services to individuals, groups, and communities. At this level, workers possess specialised skills in community services and operate autonomously within their scope of practice, under broad direction from senior management. They support individuals to make meaningful changes in their lives to enhance personal and social wellbeing. Graduates of this course may take on responsibilities including case management, program coordination, and the supervision of other workers and volunteers. This course includes two work placement blocks of 200 hours each (total: 400 hours) in a relevant community services setting.
